VIVA Kuwait today announced Its support for Maryam Al Joaan, the first Kuwaiti female to go on a scientific expedition to Antarctica. Al Joaan, an energetic young woman, is representing the Kuwait Science Club to raise awareness for, and to study environmental issues with an expedition, organized by a Canadian NGO called “Students on Ice” In February 2011, Al Joaan will be joining scientists, University professors, and other students from around the world, for a ship-based expedition, during which Al Joaan will be focusing on university-level field courses, while experiencing one of the most unique places on Earth.

Envisioned by AGENT, a strategic intelligence embassy, the “CTRUS” is a see-through soccer ball that imitates the bounce of an inflated pneumatic soccer ball, but without losing the air, giving transparency to the game of soccer. In fact, it does not need air to recoil and perform. Claimed to be the first soccer ball you can see through, CTRUS’ functional principle is based on the mechanical properties of its materials, i.e. an inner structure (skelle-core) and an outer net-embedded shell, which is carved out of reinforced elastomer to make it more flexible in comparison to regular soccer balls.

The hybrid soccer ball comes integrated with an interactive detection system that communicating wirelessly with control stations at the stadium changes its color to display the critical game situations, such as goal, offside, kick force, travel speed and if the ball is over the goal line or outside the field of play, via a GPS/RFID inner light. iPhone 4G

The French website Nowhere Else has done visual guide for the next generation iPhone. The image highlights the various rumors surrounding the next version of the iPhone (the iPhone 4G ) into one annotated graphic.
An OLED display, 5-megapixel camera and a release date between May and July appear to be the most likely rumors . Also ranking high are rumors of a front-facing camera, dual-core processor with more RAM and a touch-sensitive case. As for the removable battery rumor, 60% .
